All about the All Blacks

Bumped into Piri Weepu at Lambton Quay.

Not really starstruck, but it does feel like one of those must-do things in NZ - hangin with an All-Black :)

Rugby is BIIIG in this country and I've grown to love all the NZ games. Yet I wonder - do they ever lose a competition?

2010 Rugby League World Cup - All Blacks chalk up a win
2010 Rugby Union Investec Tri-Nations - All Blacks swept aside the competition
2011 Rugby Sevens - Too easy.

And we will soon arrive at the 2011 Rugby Union World Cup - predicting the winner will be a wee bit tricky :) No points for guessing who I'm supporting though :)

Roadtrippin Rotorua

Can't go wrong with some roadtrippin.

I believe this was a museum. 'twas a gorgeous day at the sulphur city.

A little bit more about Auckland

Today I will take a short moment to delve into retrospection. It has been 6 months since I first started my journey into this unique and quirky land. It has been the kind of journey that is less of a geographical exploration than it is of one that continues to define me as an individual.

Speaking of journeys, I can sense that this blog is coming to the end of its own. My first reasoning for this to happen is because my travels have come full circle and there isn't much else to write about, but I'm quickly correcting myself by realising that my travels have only begun and it's time to depart the blogging world to concentrate on the "forward movement". I've travelled this far not quite knowing why it had to happen but at the same time being very sure that it should happen.

And the reward? I find myself presented with a buffet spread of opportunities, waiting for the next voracious glutton to feast on its many tastes and flavours. Can be bitter at times but that's the way life is aye? (eventually you'll find something that suits your liking :) )

Happy 2011 from Auckland!
