Roadtrippin Rotorua

Can't go wrong with some roadtrippin.

I believe this was a museum. 'twas a gorgeous day at the sulphur city.

Fulfilling my obligations as a gracious visitor of this land.

Black Swan close up!

Big ol stone at Te Puia

after some festive Maori dancing and singing, we were introduced to the flatulence of the land - the Pohutu geyser. It's pronounce Gay-zer. Or Gai-zer. Or Gee-zer. I'll stick with Gay-zer, but probably end up forgetting the pronounciation again.

Reminds me of the treacherous realm of Mordor

Where is this? The exit of the Waitomo Caves. Hey, this ain't in Rotorua! That's besides the point - they didn't let us take pictures in the cave :(

Great fun in Rotorua and Waitomo. If there's one crazy thing you have to do in the neighbourhood, it'll have to be Blackwater Rafting - my memories of it are of the chilling darkness and freezing waters. And the crazy bunch below.

Roadtripping Rotorua :)
